4" Pony Tail Palm

Care: Easy, low maintenance.

Water: Water a small amount bi-weekly allowing the top portion of the soil to dry out completely before rewatering. Water from the bottom monthly or use a self-watering pot to avoid root rot.

Light: Bright, indirect light.

Toxicity: Non-toxic. However, if your pet chews on this plant it may upset their stomach but it is not poisonous.

Propagation: Pups will form at the base of the mother plant. Pups can be cut and transplanted in a new pot once they are about 4” in height.

Fun Facts: Not a palm. More closely related to desert plants in the Yucca and Agave genera. Native to Eastern Mexico.
